- To understand the foundations and nature of Human Geography as a academic discipline.

  • To address the major differences between Physical Geography and Human Geography.
  • Students should be able to identify the five themes of Human Geography.

- Globalization- the increasing inerconnectedness of people and places throughout the world through converging processes of economic,political, and cultural change.

- Physical Geography-examines climates,landforms,soils,vegatation, and hydrology(land)

- Human Geography-explore social,economic,and political factors; demography,migration, culture (people)
