Today's Class

In today's class I learned alot. So far, globalization has been a fun and exciting subject to learn about. I learned that globalization effects everyone around the World. It also helps the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. The US is using people from other countries to make their products, and then pay them only a couple cents. If you think about it the US is degrading other countries with thier own products so they can get all the money. I feel bad for the workers becuase they work had in sweatshops all day in bad conditions to make products that sell for thirty to fifty dollars and they do not even get paid one dollar for a hard days work.
I also learned that globalization from the US to other countries is on its way to killing people. There are millions of McDonald's in the US, and now there are millions across the world. These fast food places are breaking the traditions of people eating together as a family. With these fast food places more and more people are eating there becuase thier lives are so busy and they start developing health problems. Globalization is a good and a bad thing. Its a good thing because it spreads businesses around the World and its a bad thing because it only helps the rich and the workers get very little pay. So, in class we pretty much talked about the pros and cons of globalization.
